Ideological and political course is the main field in high school, which can educate the students in moral aspect, at the same time it plays an important role in guiding the healthy development of students, maintaining stability and normal teaching order of the school, improving the quality of teaching and so on. The teachers’ charm of this course on the other hand play an irreplaceable role in making the ideological and political course smoothly. Therefore, in order to complete the high quality teaching tasks of the ideological and political course in high school, cultivate excellent talents for the country, the teachers of ideological and political education lesson must strengthen the cultivation of their qualities in all round, improve the teaching ability, influence and infect students with their powerful glamour, and set a good example for the students’ development of the future.The paper puts an in-depth research on teachers’ charm issues in current high school ideological and political course by using the method of literature research and observation. On the basis of domestic and foreign scholar study, we put forward the scientific connotation of the teachers’ charm of the high school ideological and political course. Also this article introduces political course teachers’ charm, highlights the characteristics of the high school ideological and political course teachers’ charm, including the political, the model and the contemporaneous. The significance of this research lies in the high school ideological and political course teachers’ charm plays a crucial role, it is not only to benefit of shaping the students’ healthy personality, implementing the “Three Outlooks” education, stimulating students’ interests in learning the ideological and political course, demonstrating and guiding on the growth of the students, but also in favor of the high school ideological and political course teachers setting a good image of the teacher, establishing the prestige of the teachers among the students. In addition, it also greatly enhances the teaching effect of the high school ideological and political course, and has a far-reaching impact on the students and teachers. However, ideological and political teachers in high school also kept some problems of lacking of charm, including confused political belief, serious career snubbed and inefficient teaching capacity. These problems have seriously affected the charm of teachers to exert, and had a negative impact on the growth of students and the improvement of teaching effect. Therefore, based on the analysis of the high school ideological and political teachers lacking charm, this paper sums up the reasons which lead to the above phenomenon. And as to the lack of charming performance, a series of studies about social, schools, teachers and so on have been made. On account of these, this paper also puts forward to some approaches of firming political beliefs, improving teaching ability and enhancing the charm of teachers, which provides a solid theoretical basis for the ideological and political teachers to display their charm.
