As China continues to improve the socio-economic level, people’s material needs has been greatly satisfied, there is a growing emphasis on health and spiritual enjoyment,sport has gradually integrated into people’s daily lives. Because people involved in physical activity gradually increased, the demand for resources is also growing sports,sports community resources are relatively limited and can not meet people’s needs.College Sports Resources to serve the community is to ask for higher education proposed development of the times, though adequate resources college sports, school sports resources but has not been fully utilized. In this thesis, Investigation and study of Jishou University sports resources to serve the community, to propose a solution for the Jishou University sports resources to better serve the community to provide important reference.In this paper, the method of questionnaire, literature, field survey and comparative analysis of the current situation surrounding communities, Jishou University sports service needs of residents and Jishou University Sports Resources in Community of investigation and analysis. Through investigation and analysis, residents of surrounding communities, Jishou University Community Sports summed up in demand for services are the following: the diversity of needs of community sports services; sports organizations serving the specialized needs of the work; systematic demand for sports and fitness guidance services; for good sports atmosphere and demand environment.Jishou University as a rich resource of sports venues, sports meet the needs of community residents. However, in the process of serving the community, there have been some problems. Venues and facilities such as the use of unreasonable, teachers and students to participate in community service lack of initiative, there is no research resources to practice fine.
