The traditional Chinese painting is one of the most important carrier of Chinese culture. After art reform movement in modern times, Chinese paintings regain youth, more diverse forms, level has greatly improved. But as represented by the network information of the spread of the modern science and technology development, people have more opportunities to come into contact with movies, TV, cartoon, advertising, photography and other arts, aesthetic gradually tend to be more diverse. So, the contemporary high school students gradually rational thinking, aesthetic and recognition of Chinese painting is in what state? Through the way of questionnaire, this Investigation in 24 of the typical works of modern and contemporary traditional Chinese painters, Investigation of 100 high school students, the cognitive status of the traditional Chinese painting aesthetic understanding their preferences and feelings of Chinese painting, and expects to guide my future middle school fine arts teaching.
