The Interpretation And Teaching Practice Study Of Kite

This thesis conducts the research to Kite, which both known as a literary text and a teaching text, exploring the interpretation and teaching practice situation of it. Firstly, after an introduction of the academic and language research of Kite, we can find the academic researchers focus on the authenticity of ’Kite Event’ and the ideological connotations of the article. As for the connotations, there are criticism, confession, romance, family affection and other thoughtful viewpoint in the argument. And all of the viewpoints have made a contribution to the study of Kite. In the language interpretation, there is no significant advance in ideological connotations while some innovations in the teaching skills. The basic reason of the difference is the difference in the essence. Secondly, Kite is an integral part of Weeds, so we should return it to Weeds and explore the intrinsic relations between them. After the summary of the writing background, ideological connotations and artistic form of Weeds, we find that they show a special relationship of ’difference but the same’, which means they have the’different’ surface but the’same’ essence. Finally, we settle into some key points of Kite, focusing on the versions, connotations and teaching materials settings of it. First, there are different versions of Kite. After the comparison of different versions, we can see the reference functions of this method to the teaching practice. Second, based on the results of academic researches and the inspiration of teaching practice, we find the further exploration and interpretation of the ideological connotations of Kite. Third, after introducing the argument of the deletion of Kite from the textbooks, we want to find some feasible ways to the teaching settings of Kite.
