Speeding up the construction of teaching staff is the focus of building a national model school of secondary vocational schools. According to the task of improving the faculty in the model school, this paper analyzes the main problems of teaching staff construction and how to build a good teachers’team in order to lead the overall improvement of teachers’ quality. This paper mainly uses statistical analysis and questionnaire and examines the issue critically. Based on analysis of the current situation in Fujian trade school teachers, this paper presents the key problem in secondary vocational schools is the lack of professional skills in teachers who can’t satisfy students. In order to improve the teaching skill of teacher, it’s better to reform the teaching model and activate teachers to keep a united, progressive, innovative and pragmatic team. To achieve is, it needs to step:plans, to system improvement, school-enterprise cooperation, teamwork, educational information and professional faculty.
