In recent years, along with market economies unceasingly developing in China and social division of labor continuous refining, more and more companies choose to use the dispatched laborers. But imperfect dispatching labor mode gets lots of criticisms. Most of relevant researches on the dispatched labor system are in a single review. They only focus on the historical background, the significance, the status and the problems of the system itself. Most of the researches are single aspect, such as sociology, economics and so on. But researches on identity of the dispatched laborers are rarely involved. The innovation of this paper lies in that it explores the current identity of the dispatch laborers from the aspects of sociology and psychology.The dispatched laborers lack the correct position in the present society, for their lack of correct understanding of their identity, not even take it as a legitimate identity. On the other hand, the understanding of the government and companies on the identity of the dispatched laborers is also very fuzzy. The research tries to help the dispatched laborers establish career development and provide opinions and suggestions to manage the dispatched laborers.March 1st, 2014 implementation of the "Interim Provisions" means the labor dispatch system finally has a specific legal provision. Under this background, this paper makes condition investigation and study on identity of the dispatched laborers of A aids to navigation department. The paper mainly focus on the following questions: first, the dispatched laborers’ identity level; second, correlation between identity of the dispatched laborers with organizational commitment and job performance; third, differences between different types of the dispatched laborers in organizational commitment and job performance. The scales used in questionnaire are mostly developed or used by well-known foreign scholars. Combined with the actual situation of A aids to navigation department, the scales are refined. The paper analyzes data with SPSS19.0.According to analyzed statistics draws the following conclusion: the dispatched laborers identify themselves as staffs in A aids to navigation(SATN) more than the dispatched laborers(DL). Identity of the dispatched laborers show high correlation with organizational commitment and job performance. The SATN get higher scores than the DL in affective commitment, normative commitment and continuance commitment. The STAN get higher scores than the DL in job performance.The reasonable salary and welfare, improved management level, abandoned the identity discrimination; promoted system are suggested to improve the level of identity of the dispatched laborers and achieve a win-win of dispatched laborers and companies.
