It is one of the moral accomplishment advocated in current society, also is precious resources to build a socialist harmonious society and to realize China’s dream,Contemporary College students with higher education background should not only pay attention to the theoretical and professional knowledge study but also improve morality. Filial piety is the most basic and fundamental Chinese traditional virtue, so it is college students’ responsibility to live up to this spirit,which is more important to Xinjiang colleges’ students. located in the northwest frontier region of motherland, Xinjiang has special geographical position and multi-ethnic coexistence. It is no doubt that the factors affecting social stability also exist. We should be on high alert all the time and nip in the bud. It is major problem related to the national stability that whether Xinjiang is stable or not. And it is really stable only people have stable hearts.Whether people are Loyal and grateful or not,correctly, treat countries for xinjiang’s development and the well-being of the vigorously support, It directly affects the lasting stability of Xinjiang that whether people are Loyal and grateful or not and whether they can correctly understand the sttong support and various policies provided by the state to develop and to promote the people’s livelihood. As a powerful team, college students in xinjiang play a very important role. If the xinjiang university student absorbed strong patriotic thoughts and feelings to obey their parents and respect for elders, it will drive thousands of families to show filial piety and to maintain term stability. Otherwise, it may cause some people to embark on the path of treason. Therefore, it is imperative to strengthen college students’ filial piety education in xinjiang.This article analyze and research on this issue in four parts.The first part is a summary of filial piety education, including the meaning and origin of the filial piety, the meaning of filial piety education as well as filial pietyeducation of college students, which lay the theoretical foundation for the writing of this paper.The second part is the filial piety education value of college students in Xinjiang.This paper expounds the necessity of strengthening college students’ filial piety education in Xinjiang in four aspects, and emphasizes that it does not permit any delay to carry out filial piety education in Xinjiang, which has important significance to maintain the harmony and stability of Xinjiang.The third part is the current situation and cause analysis of college students’ filial piety education in Xinjiang, which.makes us to comprehend the cognition, attitude and degree of practice for filial piety as well as ways to acquire filial piety by means of questionnaire survey through questionnaires filial cognitive understanding. It aimed at finding out problems, and then analyze the causes of the problem in four aspects,including society, school, family and itself.The fourth part are countermeasures proposed to strengthen the filial piety education of university students in Xinjiang.
