Research On The Education Of College Students' Filial Piety Under The Background Of Multiculturalism

Filial piety is a fine tradition of filial piety and respect for elders.Filial piety is the moral category of harmonious family member relations in the human cultural discipline and plays an important role in cultivating and guiding people’s thoughts and morals.However,with the continuous influx of globalization and information,the multi-cultural exchanges and interactions promoted by globalization have brought new opportunities and challenges to the cultivation of filial piety and filial piety thoughts of contemporary Chinese university students.In the multicultural context,to strengthen the education of filial piety is an inevitable requirement to practice the core values of socialism,an effective measure to deal indirectly with the aging of the population,a strong guarantee to promote intergenerational relations and family harmony,a beneficial exploration to improve the ideological and political education courses in colleges and universities,and an indispensable and intrinsic need for the healthy growth of college students.The times have given college students new historical missions.Therefore,it is of great significance and practical significance to carry out the research on the concept of filial piety education under the background of multi-culture.This article will take "multicultural" as the background,insist on family ethics and moral norms as the basis,needs and problems oriented,moral inheritance and practice into the end,through the literature,research and comprehensive analysis.Based on respect for the unity of purpose and objectivity,the study was carried out in five parts.The first part is prolegomenon,which mainly discusses the present situation of students’filial piety education under the background of multi-culture.Through the analysis,it is concluded that the research results on the impact of multi-culture on a specific morality are relatively few,especially how to strengthen the education of students’ filial piety in the background of multi-culture has not been systematized and influential,so it is necessary to make an in-depth theoretical study in this respect.The second part is the connotation of multi-culture and the influence on the education of filial piety.In this part,the author first defines the connotation of related concepts and analyzes the positive effect and negative influence of multi-culture on the education of filial piety.The third part is the analysis of the present situation and existing problems of filial piety education for college students.This part mainly through the questionnaire and the field interview form to understand the present situation of the university students filial piety view education,and combine the reality of college students’ specific filial piety,from the education contents,education methods,education carrier and education on the path to analyze problems,finally combining with the multicultural background,discusses the cause of the problem.The fourth part is the countermeasure of strengthening the education of college students’filial piety under the background of multiculturalism.Based on the "problem" orientation consciousness,first discusses the principle of filial piety education under the multi-cultural background,then establishes the "state-society-school-family-individual" three-dimensional network path,so as to provide countermeasure support for promoting the college students’filial piety education.The fifth part is the conclusion.The concept of filial piety education for college students is a dynamic development process,which will change with the changes of the times,economy and internal and external environment.Therefore,we should devote more thought,practice and exploration to the education of filial piety of college students,and deepen our understanding of multiculturalism,so as to promote the outstanding traditional Chinese virtues.
