Objective:(1)To understand the depression status of the rural high school students and their positive psychological quality level; (2) to investigate the rural high school students depressive symptoms, life events and positive psychological qualities of relationship; (3) to explore the positive mental quality between the rural high school students depressive symptoms and life events.Methods:In this study, the Beck Depression Inventory, teenagers Life Event Scale, a questionnaire on the quality of young people positive psychology rural high school students conducted a questionnaire survey. Preclude the use of t-test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, regression analysis to understand the relationship between rural high school students’ mental quality differences and their life events and depressive symptoms between.Results:(1) High school students in rural areas 55.72% detection rate of depression. Mild depression 47.63%, the proportion of severe depression is 8.09%. (2) rural high school students in the overall level of positive psychological quality is positively inclined, in which the different dimensions of positive mental quality of rural school students average score differences between men and women small, rural high school students scored the highest in terms of character; competency aspects rural high school students score low. (3) analysis of the correlation between depressive symptoms and high school students in rural life events show that depressive symptoms and life events by various factors were significant test, P<0.01, and there was a positive correlation. Positive Mental quality correlation analysis for rural high school students each factor in depressive symptoms have passed significant test, and showed negative correlation. (4) In this study, regulation of the positive psychological test model quality adjustment effects were significant test results showed positive psychological quality regulatory role between depressive symptoms and life events.Conclusion:Positive psychological quality can affect the regulation of rural senior high school students’life events on depressive symptoms, with the increased level of life events,the stronger the protective effects of positive psychological quality.
