The history that colleges are built concentratedly makes celebrations concentratedly, and it is becoming a important study areas. Entrusted with the mission of national rejuvenation, Peking University has attracted much attention in Chinese from her building. In the more than 100 years since establishment, Peking University has made her own voices heard almost in every age. The historical mission and unique temperament make her become a benchmark for Chinese higher education, and her every act and every move, of course, affect the nerves of people concerning about the Chinese higher education. At the100 th anniversary of her founding, related celebrations are too numerous to enumerate. What’s more, it is a best sample of study undoubtedly.Peking University anniversary celebration is reappearance of cultural memory, also it is a retrospect and prospect of education memory. Peking University put his outstanding history and his spirit of "Free Thinking and All- Embracing" and tradition of “Patriotism, Advancement, Democracy and Science” as the main content. Using the centennial celebration of Peking University as a case could analyze mode of education memory, and put forward some of my own thinking. I think celebrations should remember inclusive and free academic spirit, the responsibility to country and nationality, the Objective and comprehensive history of colleges. The main body of memory should be teachers and students and the activities should be practical. And open resources of colleges to share with society. These will make celebration more effective, valuable, meaningful.
