| In the background of "Deep Integration of Information Technology and Higher Education", Virtual learning community is increasingly widely used in the teaching of colleges and universities, but how to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning community is the most important problem needed to be solved at present. In this study, the evaluation object is the learning effectiveness of virtual learning community in Universities and Colleges.Firstly, on the basis of literature research, the author defined the learning effectiveness of virtual learning community and the evaluation methods of effective learning, summarized the characteristics of virtual learning community—constructive, interactive, social, technical, and the evaluation of Learning Effectiveness should be combined with the formative evaluation and summative evaluation. Combined with the characteristics of virtual learning community and evaluation of effective learning, the evaluation framework in this study is constructed. Evaluation framework consists of four levels: learning objectives, interactive behavior, learning derivatives and community learning satisfaction. The learning objectives includes knowledge and skills, processes and methods, emotions and attitudes composition; the interactive behavior includes the frequency and depth; the learning derivatives includes text messaging and multimedia works; the community learning satisfaction is composed by two aspects: learning overall satisfaction and community presence satisfaction.Secondly, on the basis of theoretical research, according to the Learning effectiveness of Virtual Learning Community’s evaluation framework, evaluation scale tool is designed and developed.Through the project analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis of data of pre-try, the failed questions were deleted, finally 27 questions were determined to form the final evaluation scale.Finally,the development of evaluation scale aims to evaluate the existing virtual learning community. The study evaluates two courses of domestic virtual learning community background of college. First do questionnaire to learners of courses, analysis and description the results; then content analysis the course grade and interaction data in the community of learners, compare the two conclusions, and formation evaluation report. The experiment shows that the evaluation result of the scales is consistent with the objective data, the assessment scale can realize the effectiveness evaluation of the virtual learning community. At the last, the author proposed four aspects strategies including motivation, emotion, evaluation and technical support to increase the learning effectiveness of virtual learning community, expected the study can help the virtual learning community in the secondary college teaching. |
