Virtual learning community has become an ideal learning environment, in which the learners can carry out collaborative learning, obtain their own development through the interactive dialogues, and generate knowledge. As we know, it has a good education application prospect in creating new learning culture, promoting green learning and lifelong learning. Through using information technology to construct the learning environment, it realizes the combination of personalized learning and social learning. As its unique communication way of collaborative learning, it can achieve the learning goals better. Around the theme that process of the transformative learning in virtual learning community, this research used transformative learning theory and other related theories as references, combined with the existing application practices to start studying that analyzing the knowledge reconstruction mode and the internal operating mechanism of learners’ reference frame in virtual learning community, using learners’ learning experience as a starting point, contacted old knowledge to new knowledge to promote the old knowledge and to improve and develop the learners’ reference framework.First of all, the researcher used the methods of literature study and participant observation to analyze the research status of the transformtive learning theory and the virtual learning community, and reviewed the learning process of the virtual learning community by the mirror of transformative learning theory to design a transformative learning process model, and then researched how to trigger the process, how to maintain it to achieve deep learning, promoting the transformation of learners’ cognitive to achieve the goal of development of reference frame. In the second place, from different dimensions such as individual space, community space, common space, the author probed into the design and solution of the conflict, the organization of reflective dialogue, the embodiment of the reflective and critical and processing the relationship between scholars and members in the transformative process. Thirdly, based on the above research and the actual observation, by use of QQ as the conversation platform, the writer put forward the technical route of transformative learning in the virtual learning community, and gave a specific implementation plan at the same time.Transformative level of learning and the level of thinking of learners is one of the key indicators to measure the virtual learning communities’ running efficiency and effect. Viewing from global research, to establish a cross-regional professional virtual learning community can strengthen the cooperation and communication between teachers and students in excellent schools, centering on the superior learning resources, and also maximize the realization of wisdoms, in order to promote the network learning hierarchy.
