In recent years, with the promotion of quality education, the majority of students are expected in all aspects of the quality of the increasingly high demand. Society is more concerned about the ability of students to face the problem and solve the problem. The teaching philosophy of Multiple Intelligences is to explore the potential of a number of intelligences, which fits well with the current quality education. Quality education in light of Theory of Multiple Intelligences opens up new perspective for further thought. More and more teachers begin teaching practice in light of multiple intelligence theory, some schools with favorable conditions have conducted the research so as to make multiple intelligence theory better serve the teaching.This thesis explores the application of multiple intelligences in junior high school English teaching through real and vivid teaching practice, aiming to explore the relationship between English class teaching activities under the guidance of Multiple Intelligences theory and the students’ interest, scores and developement. The author hopes to give some advice to the high school English class teaching. The paper is roughly divided into three sections: introduction, theory and practice. Introduction shows the significance of this study. The theoretical part explains the situation, theoretical foundation and the basic rules. The practice part introduces the research design, presents the analysis and results and draws the conclusions : English class teaching activities in junior under the guidance of Multiple Intelligences helps to improve students’ English learning, to arouse students’ interest, to achieve emotional goals and to develop students’ potential weak intelligence.The theory of multiple intelligences has opened up a new perspective for junior middle school English teaching. This thesis embarks the target of exploration and research from the classroom practice. It can be a guidance in terms of cultivating students’ strong intelligence, making up the weak intelligence, and achieving all-rounded development of the students.
