| "Chicken and rabbit in the same cage" is an ancient famous mathematics question. It has the history of more than 1500 years. It spreads so far from China to the world and it is included to the curriculum in China and Japan, which inevitably possesses intrinsic value of education. Although the teachers are absorbed in the teaching and research with high enthusiasm, the sound of sarcasm in recent years is still around. In order to carry forward the Chinese classical culture, it is very necessary and important to discuss its education value and optimize the teaching to achieve its educational function. This study combs the literature research through the historical data and modern literature, pursues the solution to the problem, teaching design and reflection on literature through a case study and the investigation. Based on the analysis of the historical origin the current situation of teaching and research, I make the following discussion.First of all, the teaching of the problem has the following education value: the value for the development of students’ intelligence and ability; the value of the cultivation of student’s thinking quality; the value of the cultivation of student’s mathematical thinking method; the value of traditional culture education and the aesthetic value of cultivating and raising students sentiment and personality traits.Second, the study has carried on the induction analysis and integration according to many problem solving method, which reveals the essence is an important method in scientific discovery methodology---“tryâ€.Third, the study provides the regular problem model in view of the enumeration and induction to expand application scope. In the perspective of some inherent characteristic quantity they are both the characteristics of the known number of algebra, what are the two things each? It is dual equations at a time in fact.Fourth, the study finds out the general model of thinking in the light of the students problem-solving process. It reveals the essence of dual equations at a time. It can solve all the dual equations at a time, or can be classified as the word problems of dual equations at a time.Fifth, in the perspective of the teaching optimization the study puts forward the teaching should adapt to the students’ cognitive development levels, combine with students’ life experience, carry out the problem solving teaching, incorporate the independent inquiry and teacher’s guidance, encourage independent thinking and cooperation communication with the organic combination, properly adjust and optimize the teaching on the basis of the teaching materials.Sixth, the study optimizes the teaching design and develops its education value on the previous basis and in the perspective of problem solving teaching and the universality of the problem. |
