Intervention Study By Social Worker For Adolescent Girls’ Physical Health Education In Migrant Schools

With the industrialized and urbanized process,migration workers from rural areas be a normal social phenomenon and they consist of an enormous group. The children followed their parents who want earn money in big cities also coming to big cities and living in the urban villages or semi-urban areas which is with bad infrastructures. They study in the school which is specialized open for this children group who come from rural remote place. This kind of school got problems like shortage of fund, scarcity of the education resource, unprofessional teachers and lacking home education from their poor educated parents. The majority of professors who are studying in this social problem are from the perspective of economy、education、sociology and psychology,but lacking of the studies in the health education of adolescent girls in this group.This research collected data with scientific methods from the S school which is specialized open for the children moving with their migrant parents.Girls whose age are between 10-19 in this school are chosen as the research objects and 38 of them fill out the questionnaires given out by the researcher.The results shows the health education condition in the S school is pessimistic.Under the direction of Hierarchy theory of needs,group dynamic theory and relevant education theories, combining Qualitative methods with Quantitative methods to analyze data, and then get a overall idea of how is the latest situation of physical health education in S school. And from three aspects of themselves,school education and home education to summary, we get a comprehensive perspective of the leading facts to this situation. The study intervenephysical health education in S school with the working method of social work profession, and try to explore if the method of social work can do some help to physical health education. The results show that group work of social work profession do make impacts on research objects. They are willing to pay more attention to their own physical health and start to notice the importance of life quality. Hope this survey can draw more attraction from the society to this group and their living environment and economic condition get improved.
