Ontology is the core technology of semantic web, that is substantially a set of generally accepted, specific and formalized standard. At present, the ontology has been widely used in the field of knowledge engineering, library science and education and so on. Although many editing tools has already been produced to support ontology construction, for getting the concepts and relationships among concepts, it mainly depends on the manual way, especially needs lots of domain experts. This has become a big obstacle to limit the development and promotion of ontology, relay on manual approach to get concepts and relationships between concepts that still need to consume vast personnel and time, even requires massive participation of domain experts in this, which has become a big obstacle to limit the development and promotion of ontology. This paper analyzes the education status of application domain ontology and ontology automatic construction. On the basis of related research, an automatic term extraction method for curriculum is proposed. These domain concepts and relationships among concept extracting by the semi-automatic algorithm can be used to build knowledge framework of course ontology. We organized the collected cases resource of course to form case network that is focusing on the course ontology. In this paper, the key research contents are as follow:1) Automatic acquisition technology of ontology concepts. In view of problems existing in current traditional construction, such as heavy workload, low efficiency of ontology construction and maintenance difficulty to ontology, this paper has carried out lots of analysis and comparison of ontology. And an automatic acquisition method of ontology concept is put forward that based on the technology of automatic term extraction. Experimental results showed that this method can improve the accuracy of term extraction, which has positive significance in the efficiency promote of ontology construction.2) The construction of <Object-Oriented Programming> course ontology. In this paper, the study of course learning is based on theory of ontology,we learned and analyzed the education resource construction specification and the architecture of subject knowledge. On this basis, by referencing the most advanced ontology construction method at present, which includes 7 steps, as guidance to build <Object-Oriented Programming> ontology library. The realization of OWL description ontology file is used ontology management tool protégé.3) The design and implementation of curriculum resource retrieval system. On the based of the course ontology library that has been constructed. We focused on the requirement analysis of system, the implementation of reasoning principle and the core work flows. In the end, we take use of JSP + My SQL technology to realize the <Object-Oriented Programming> curriculum resources retrieval system. Through the implementation of system can verify the rationality of curriculum ontology constructed in this paper.The curriculum resource retrieval system can provides the management of knowledge and resource in ontology library can fast search of course resource and the course learning based on ontology reasoning for system user. The system has realized the dynamic path generation of different concepts of knowledge with course ontology reasoning the system can provide much help for the user to study course knowledge, it is great significance for user to study course knowledge. Personalized learning system construction is the new requirement of education informatization. By constructing learner interest model that is able to provide personalized learning recommendation for learner, which is an important part of work that needs to be further carried out.
