Research Of Fans Culture And The Improvement To Politics Teaching In The Middle School

As a modern popular cultural phenomenon, “Fans culture” has been more and more deeply involved in thoughts and life of middle school students. Therefore, against the background of deeply advancing the new curriculum reform, researching on the relationship between “Fans culture” and politics education in middle school has become an important task to face for educators in our century. Scholars at home and abroad put great emphasis on the research of fans culture related to politics education of middle school students. My research lays particular emphasis on the combination of fans culture and middle school politics teaching activities, and by means of questionnaires and interviews etc., it tries to explore the value and ways of improving middle school politics teaching by fans culture.“Fans” means someone with craziness to idols, and fans put too much irrational emotion into the idols. Fans culture arises in the development of modern industrial society and consumerist society. Fans culture has the characteristics of guidance, times, entertainment and creativeness. People can interpret the phenomenon of fans culture from the perspectives of psychology, sociology and culture, etc. Apparently, fans culture in modern society mainly spreads among the youth and affects the youths’ thoughts and life both positively and negatively.Based on questionnaires and interviews of students and teachers, the Research on the one hand shows politics teaching in the present middle school has ineffective teaching phenomena such as the lack of activeness of students to the study, uncleanness of learning aim, and lack of interest of the textbooks to students, on the other hand, it shows fans culture in fact has both positive and negative effects on the youths’ life, and most teachers and students agree that politics teaching in the middle school should bring in fans culture reasonably.To improve politics teaching in the middle school by bringing in fans culture reasonably, some principles must firstly be established and followed, such as sticking to the mainstream status of China characterized socialist culture, emphasizing the leadershipof socialist core values, carrying cultural resources of China and the west. As far as middle school politics practical teaching is concerned, fans culture can be got involved in politics teaching in middle school by means of improving politics teaching methods. Besides, fans culture can make politics teaching after school well by means of classroom culture development, online education, etc. Politics teaching in Middle school is a three-dimensional activity; therefore, fans culture can improve politics teaching by means of making Mentorship, creating Interesting Lesson, choosing the Idol of Students. Of course, it still has many other ways that could be explored and found in educational practice.
