Life Education is based on life,and life education serving as a new value orientation is attracting more and more people’s attention. Early childhood development as the starting stage of life, plays an important role in the development of life. It is essential to the life of young children acceptable education. Picture books with a picture of the narrative, the combination of Ventura, interesting content and other characteristics philosophical themes, use the "graphic ensemble" form, to convey profound truth to young children. Good life education should be the theme of the picture book should be the carrier of early childhood education. It should make full use of the kindergarten and accomplish their value. Life education is an educational process that is based on the carrier of picture books with the aim of letting the children understand the phenomenon of life, accessing the skill to protect themselves, developing the emotion of life as well as understanding of the value of life. So it carries a purposeful, planned and organized theme activities with the integration of reading, games, experience, family activities and so on to educate children’s cognitive aspects of life, healthy life, emotional life,the value of life which can generate a positive impact on the educational process.On the basis of childrens’ literature, pedagogy, psychology and philosophy of life and some related theories, my thesis is going to combine the method of the amount of research and observational method. We made a research and invest gate the present situation about teachers’ using picture books to educate by choosing 180 kindergarten teachers from Dezhou as the subjects of the questionnaire,randomly selecting from 18 teachers for interview objects,and three small,medium and large class teaching activities as research objects as well as using the method of survey,content analysis and other research methods.The study found that kindergartens have high awareness to use picture books to carry out life education,but most of the kindergartens don’t really do it. The ability for teachers’ to carry out education by using picture books remains to improve. Not so many training or researching activities for teachers are carried out. The operation between teachers and home is rare. The measures should be taken are: carrying out more researches about courses,promoting the smooth progress of children’s life education; Increasing the knowledgereserve, promoting teacher’s ability of using picture books to educate,strengthening teacher ability of training and researching as well as strengthening the cooperation between the kindergarten and home, making full use of family resources and natural resources and social resources,and enriching their life experience.
