Early education plays an important role in the process of young children's healthy growth.However,people's understanding of early education only focuses on the inspiration and development of young children's intelligence in the past years,which is quite controversial due to its inherent limitation.With the change of educational concepts and educational methods,people now have gradually realized the importance of emotional education for young children.Cartoon books full of pictures are important companions in the young children's growth process.Thus,to some extent,picture books have some positive impacts on helping young children to build healthy emotional patterns.The development of educational informatization,the change of the way of communication and the reading style have altogether made digital interactive picture books quickly prevail as soon as they came out.Digital picture book is a brand-new medium for people to acquire information and read.More and more young parents will choose digital picture books as a tool to enlighten their children's intelligence,to shape their children's personality and to guide their children to inherit cultures.At the same time,the impact of digital picture books with sound-light effects is drawing more and more attention.The thesis is going to define the terms involved in the research firstly,and then reviews the current achievements of relative researches at home and abroad;last but not least,the author proposes the principles,strategies as well as methods of young children's emotional education based on picture books,and the precise concepts.The thesis is going to define the terms involved in the research firstly,and then reviews the current achievements of relative research at home and abroad;last but not least,the author proposed the principles,strategies and methods of children's emotional education based on picture books,and the precise concepts of emotional education that both based on the explanation of the theory of emotional education via picture books.Based on the previous research achievements of emotional education,this research divided emotional education into five dimensions,designed a rating scale of young children's emotional development,analyzes and improved the reliability and validity of data-collecting and questionnaire.Then,it divided 60 young children who are 3 to 4 years old into traditional group and digital group and gave them selected 16 paper-based picture books and corresponding digital books separately as carriers of emotional education.The whole experimental research endures more than a month.The statistic analysis of the feedback data shows that traditional paper-based paper books and the digital paper books both have positive impact on young children's emotional education.What's more,there are some certain advantages of digital picture books.Comparing the traditional paper-based picture books group and digital picture books group,we could draw a conclusion that young children who read digital picture books achieved significant ability in controlling their emotional expression,curiosity and compassion.
