Purpose of research:The variations of corporeity index of correlation of old people after 6 months’ training are analysed comparatively in the article, which discusses the influential diversities got from tennis to different age groups of the aged corporeity. The article can be the scientific basis of both popularizing tennis to be a mass health-building event and arranging the aged to take part in the tennis keep-fit exercises scientifically and rationally.Research object and method:The research takes 63 old tennis enthusiasts(aged from 55 to 65) in the city of Shenyang as research object. Methods of documentary, experimentation, mathematical statistics and some other research methods are adopted to collect the data of corporeity index of the trainees both before and after the 6 months’ tennis training. The variations of every corporeity index of old people before and after the training are analysed comparatively.Research results are as follows:(1) Body shape: There is a significant decrease(p<0.05) of the thickness of crease and hipline on the upper arm of men whose ages are from 55 to 60 after six-month tennis exercise. Meanwhile, the thickness of crease on the abdomen has shown a significant decrease(p<0.05) in the female ones among the same age range. Besides, the thickness of crease on the upper arm, abdomen, hipline and the waistline has shown a significant decline(p<0.05) in the aged women. The effect of tennis playing on the thickness of crease on the upper arm on the female is greater than that on the male(p<0.05). However, the effect of tennis playing on the thickness of crease on the abdomen and waistline of the female is greater than that of male.(p<0.05)(2) Cardiopulmonary function: There is a significant improvement(p<0.05) on the lung’s capacity in the two aged groups, respectively the ages between 55-60 and 61-65. The effect of tennis on cardiopulmonary function is different between the male and the female, in which the effect on the male is greater than that in the female. The aged people who frequently participate in the tennis playing have no significant change in their blood pressure.(3) Physical quality: There is a significant difference between the indicators on power of gripping and the selective response. The female whose ages are from 55 to 60 show a significant growth(p<0.05) in their gripping power, as well as a decrease(p<0.05)in their selective response time. he gripping power and the selective response has shown a significant difference(p< 0.05)of before and after tennis playing for both men and women. The effect of tennis playing on the female is greater than that on the male.(p<0.05)Research conclusions:(1)The 6 months’ tennis training has no obvious influence in body shape of the old-age males except individual indexes(weight, skin fold thickness of the upper arm,hip line).It is supposed to be related to the training time and training load probably; The training has obvious influence in abdominal fat and skin fold thickness of the upper arm of the old-age female and no apparent influence in the other indexes; Otherwise, regarding to the influence in abdominal fat, males are better than females; As to the influence in subcutaneous fat of upper arm, females are better than males.(2)After 6 months’ tennis training, the level of vital capacity of all different age groups get improved apparently except the old-age female group aged from 60 to 65. Moreover, males’ level of vital capacity get improved more than females’. The cardiovascular function of the four old-age groups is not influenced obviously. It is supposed to be influenced by exercise intensity and the duration of experiment possibly.(3)The 6 months’ tennis training has positive impacts on the level of physical strength of the male group aged from 61 to 65 and female group aged from 55 to 65. It has obvious promoting influence in the sensitivity of nervous system of the four aged groups. However, the suppleness and balance function of the aged are not influenced obviously.
