The status of the ideological and political course influences the growth of college students and the quality of the builders and successors for constructing socialism. From 2005 the method of educating began to reform,and became the important part of reformation. The exploration has a positive role in promoting the effect of ideological and political theory course teaching, improving students’ attraction and appeal of the ideological and political theory course.But, for a long time, ideological and political theory course teaching mainly adopts "pass- accept" mode, it is a teacher in the teaching process using oral, blackboard writing, students through the ear, the eye’s note to complete the knowledge, attitude and emotion to receive, accept, so as to achieve the teaching goals and objectives of teaching methods. The traditional method ignores students’ initiative.Although "theory comes from practice", however, theory teaching practice did not achieve the desired goal.And in recent years, with the development of information technology, the diversification of information receiving, diversification of information transmission,diversity of thinking development, to the thought politics theory class teaching method of exploration and innovation, is both opportunities and challenges. So as the teacher of this course,to explore of the method is our responsibility.At the same time, Visualizations are used in education,an obtain a better effectiveness.As a special course in university, Ideological and Political course should attach importance to the presentation of knowledge. Therefore, it is possible for Visualization applied in ideological and political education. This research takes‘Outline of Chinese Modern and Contemporary History’ for example, to explore how to use Visualization in Ideological and Political Course.The first part is introduction. The part analyzes background of the research.Experts and scholars in this field have received some effects and I try to make my own. Research about the education of ideological and political theory method, hasmade certain achievements, but also there are some problems in practice. Studying on visualization provides a train of thought and using for reference.The second part is basis of theoretical analysis. This part is mainly to illustrate on the basis of the main theory. Including the concept of visualization, as well as the theory basis of the using the visualization in Ideological and Political course. The ultimate goal of Ideological and Political course is to promote student’s free all-round development and improve the overall quality. Therefore, Marx’s theory of man’s all-round development should be a theoretical basis of the application of visualization means; The question of "how to render knowledge?" becomes the issue that teachers have to consider. Tool of Visualization is in the form of a diagram or chart to express knowledge. Need diagram to learn theory as well as dual-coding theory of schemata theory to explain. Application of visualization tools need those theories to support.Third parts focus on how to use Visualization in Ideological and Political course.Firstly, introducing the basis of using Visualization determines teaching target.Then, taking the third chapter in ‘Outline of Chinese Modern and Contemporary History’ for cases, analysis in this chapter how to use Visualization for teaching design, including teaching target, teaching content, and teaching process.The forth Part discusses the principles and significance of using Visualization.This paper argues that in the application of visualization tools should follow certain principles: regularity, improved interactivity, insisted on supporting and so on. These principles guarantee the Ideological and Political course to achieve optimal effect,making using visualization tools without the substance. In explanation of the significance, this article mainly illustrate from teachers and students. And teachers of ideological and political course, Visualization tool used to straighten out the teaching ideas, optimizing the teaching process and to innovative teaching methods and innovative teaching model and to substantial knowledge, improve professional quality. Students will be able to enhance students ’ awareness of the links betweenknowledge, arrange knowledge structure, interaction and exchanges, playing students ’ principal role in the learning process; while innovating the students ’ way of thinking. These are the achievements of visualization application in ideological and political course.The last part is a summary about the conclusion. This research attempts to from education technology to analysis visualization application in Ideological and Political course. Introducing the theoretical and practical significance, and according to the specific circumstances of thesis writing, analysis of deficiencies and defects of this study. That visualization tools in the teaching of ideological and political course,teaching methods in use still needs to be further explored, and a long way to go.
