The Chinese pedagogy non-native growth led to the difficulties in the study of Chinese pedagogy. From the occurrence and development of the Chinese pedagogy’s perspective, we can explore the "primitive" as a great significance of Chinese pedagogy. Its importance is not only to the reconstruction of education science system, but also to alleviate the current crisis for education, deepen the education of "ego", it also has important theoretical significance and practical significance. From a certain extent, Chinese education is the product of foreign pedagogy research to stimulate, so the research about introducing foreign pedagogy in China is inevitable in the development of Chinese pedagogy. The introduction of German education in China had a huge influence, as Chinese education scholars introduce western education from some important countries. Especially the Herbart’s<general education> was introduced in China, which was introduced in the early education stage and after, it had a profound impact for Chinese pedagogy’s founding and development.This paper addresses the time series of Germany pedagogy’s introduce in China. The introduction of German education in China is in an age that we need to conform Chinese people’s intelligence, to enlighten people. We introduced German education also because the thinking ways of German education in accordance with the Chinese traditional education thinking habits. In one hundred years, our country has introduced 16 German education branches, and the introduction has a large span, a wide range comparison.The one hundred years of history about imported of German education in China can be divided into four stages. The initial stage is based on the study of introduction, followed by the introduction of the characteristics of present a way-and went silent in the third stage, after the restart of the introduction of German education in our country at the reform and opening up stage. It is presented the German dynamic in the development of pedagogy in recent years. Then, this article examined the branches of German pedagogy from the lateral level. According to three criteria: the pedagogy as a discipline, other branches of education subject and Meta-pedagogy. Specific branch of German education introduced in China sets forth respectively, mainly involves nine branches.The introduction of German education in China has a significant effect. Herbart’s educational system is not only contribute to the early Chinese pedagogy’s basic concept, basic framework, improve the system of early education discipline in China, but also influence the whole of the 20th century Chinese basic model of teaching pedagogy material. German pedagogy was founded the Chinese basic path of teaching practice; Germany pedagogy introduced into China in the new era, the latest progress in education, such as experience, critical pedagogy and practice education pedagogy, etc., not only broadens the horizons of Chinese pedagogy researchers, promoted the formation of the culture of the Chinese pedagogy researchers critical thinking, but also to be the basic research paradigm of Chinese pedagogy as well.In the whole course, this paper tentatively explore the German enlightenment brought by the pedagogy introduce itself. German education as one of the early educations which Chinese introduced, has provided valuable experience for the future development of Chinese pedagogy. We should correctly handle the relationship between the introduction and innovation; correctly handle the relationship between direct introduction and indirect introduction; should be based on local practice, seek the development of Chinese pedagogy independent developing path.
