Education is an important part of social development, in which school education is the main body, social education is the external environment, family education is the basic position in the education system. Family education plays an important role in the family environment which makes the family members become a useful person in society. It plays an important role in the development of life. It has positive influence on family and society.In the cultivation of personal qualities, home economics education and family education have a common goal. Home Economics Education (called "family course" in Japan) involve the scope of different education according to the object of different. In the basic stage of education, domestic practice is the main part of Home Economics Education and the theoretical side of home economics.Modern home economics education appeared in the United States in the late 19th century, and was introduced into Japan, after more than half a century of development, whether in primary and secondary school or higher education, from the curriculum, teaching methods, teacher training, etc., Japan has formed more completed model and in many aspects, it is worth to draw for our country. This article uses the literature method, the analysis method, the comparison method and the example. Mainly analysis the Japanese home economics education development course and the present situation, and summarizes the home economics education experience of Japan, and provides the reference and the reference for our country’s home economics education’s construction and the development.The main content of this paper is as follows:first chapter is the introduction, including the problem, research status, purpose and significance, ideas and methods. The second chapter describes the domestic education and related theories, characteristics and significance, the rise and development of Japanese home economics educa-tion development process. The third chapter describes the Japanese home economics education target and content, take 2009 as the representative object. Chapter four is devoted to the study of the status of implementation of the home economics education in elementary school and middle school in Japan, containing external support, course setting and attendance requirements, teachers safeguard, materials research and development, teaching methods and home economics education in Japanese primary and middle school case. The fifth chapter contains the experience and Enlightenment of the Japanese primary and secondary school home economics education. Firstly, we summarize the experience of Japanese primary and secondary school education. Including the introduction of modern home economics education system, improving the condition of home economics education, strengthen the construction of home economics education teachers, explore innovative home economics teaching method.
