The requirements of new curriculum reform in Ideological and Political lessons of senior high school is to improve the effectiveness and flexibility of the Ideological and Political lessons and achieve the goal of promoting students’ full-round development. However, the problem occurs that it is hard to make the goal come true due to influence s of various factors in the real pedagogy process. Situational cognitive theory, a kind of pedagogical model, provides a new possibility to achieve this goal. This essay is to summarize embodiment, principles, theory basis, thought material and values which are applied in the Political Life from the perspective of bibliographical summary and cases analysis. On this basis, the compulsory lesson II Political Life is taken an example to illustrate the principles and process of pedagogical model of situational cognitive theory. Meanwhile, Determining factors in International Relations: national benefits is taken as the pedagogical case to discuss the specific application of pedagogical model in the process of Political Life pedagogy. Combined with specific cases, we achieve relatively good effort after the practice of pedagogical model of situational cognitive theory. However, some problems are also occurred. Firstly, the theme did not give too much attention and sometimes we deviate the pedagogy goals, secondly, we fall into the situation-center and separate the knowledge logic; thirdly, we ignore the students’ condition and lack of reasonable brim involvement; lastly, test-center is the goal and sometimes we ignore the situational evaluation. Therefore, we come up with some solutions considering corresponding problems. Firstly, set the proper lesson goal and lesson situation; secondly, insist the reasonable principle and realize the combination of knowledge, reality and practice; thirdly, situation setting should be involved properly; fourthly, abstract the true feeling of situation resources and master the value core of reality, goodness and merits.
