| Preschool Children Mathematics Education is the process that children perceive, observe, operate, find and take the initiative to explore the number of relations and spatial forms of perception in the objective world, under the guidance of a teacher or adult, through their own activities.It’s the process that young children accumulate lots of emotional experience in math, actively to build primarily mathematical concepts in level of representation, to learn simple mathematical methods and skills and to develop the ability of thinking. It is the development of children’ curiosity, desire of exploration, self-confidence, get a pleasant emotional experience,. Also, it is a process for children becoming interested in mathematical activity and developing good study habit. "3-6 years old children learning and development Guide" issued by the Ministry of Education, 2012(hereinafter referred to as the "Guide"), stated: "children mathematics learning should be focus on perceiving usefulness and fun during daily life and games, understanding preliminary the relationship of number, shape and spatial relation, cultivate preliminary logical thinking ability. "While the education authorities at all levels have made detailed provisions, and to take some measures to crack down on the phenomenon of primary school education in kindergarten mathematics education objectives, content, implementation and evaluation. In some areas the phenomenon of primary school is still very serious. Since mathematics is one of the main subjects in primary school, the kindergarten mathematics education especially the senior kindergarten’s tendency of educating children too early in primary school is more prominent.This study selected county of three kindergartens from Shijiazhuang city, Hebei province as sample. On their Senior classes’ mathematics teaching, we observed for three weeks at the same time and took an objective record and qualitative analysis by using of interviews and physical analysis. By observation, I learned that there exists follow aspects in Senior kindergarten’s tendency to educate children too early phenomenon: environment settings "primary"; mathematics education curriculum goals of "primary"; course content of "primary"; organization of curriculum and process of implementation’s "primary" and curriculum evaluation methods’ "primary." After interviewing parents of young children, kindergarten teachers, the principal and primary school mathematics teacher, I learned the main reasons for this situation are: the impact of living environment; the impact of parents Traditional Education thought; the impact of education system and early childhood teacher professional quality. For above situation and reason, I put forward the feasibility measures: to actively promote and improve the social proper awareness of Senior kindergarten mathematics education’s purpose; strengthen contacts between home and kindergarten, change wrong education concept of parents; educational authorities should strengthen the supervision and investment on primary schools and kindergartens; strictly control the entry barriers for preschool teachers, to enhance their professional quality. |
