In recent years, the continuity between kindergarten and primary school has been a hot issue, many experts and scholars have also carried out on the subject of it. The Guidance of Kindergarten Education(Trial) hereinafter referred to as the Outline also states clearly that kindergarten education should be connected with primary school education. And the continuity of teaching is an important aspect to realize the link of education. Doing well in the job of the teaching continuity of Mathematics between kindergarten and primary school will not only make the senior kindergarten children have a natural and smooth transition to a primary school mathematics learning life, but also can have an important influence on children’s future math study.This study adapts the ways of documentary method and questionnaire survey. It has figured out the status quo by looking up the existing records, questionnaire survey and interviewing the related teachers. In this way to analyze the problems about the overall understand of the teaching continuity of mathematics between kindergarten and primary school, mathematics teaching goals, teaching contents, teaching methods, and teaching evaluations, furthermore, this study also gives some effective suggestions.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction, which includes the raise of the questions, research significance, domestic and foreign related research, the ideas and methodology, the creative points of this study and so on.The second part is an overview of the teaching continuity of Mathematics between kindergarten and primary school, which includes the concepts of “The continuity between kindergarten and primary school” and “The teaching continuity of Mathematics between kindergarten and primary school” and the basic theory of this study.The third part is the present situation and result analysis of the the teaching continuity of Mathematics between kindergarten and primary school. In order to collect data, this study adapts the ways of questionnaire survey and interviewing related teachers. It also did an analysis about the overall understanding, mathematics teaching goals, teaching contents, teaching methods, and teaching evaluations in the aspects of the teaching continuity of mathematics between kindergarten and primary school.The fourth part is some questions which occur in the teaching continuity of mathematics between kindergarten and primary school and interpretations of result. According to the questionnaire survey and interview records, according to the research to analyze the reason why the problem happens based on the whole cognition about math teaching, teaching goals, teaching contents, teaching methods, teaching evaluations and so on.The fifth part is some suggestions about promoting the teaching continuity of mathematics between kindergarten and primary school. In view of the above questions and the reason analysis, there are some effective suggestions which involve overall understanding, mathematics teaching goals, teaching contents, teaching methods, teaching evaluations and so on.
