A Study On The Present Situation Of The Ex-curricular Sports Activities Of Private Colleges In He Bei Province

Extracurricular sports activities are relative to the case of physical education. It refers to the students do some sports after classes. It is an important part of college sports and an extension of college sports curriculum. It has important significance in college sports activities. This paper analyzes the extracurricular activities in the state universities and private universities by the methods of literature, questionnaire, interview method and statistical analysis. It include the following parts:According to the comparative study of 16 state-run universities and 16 private colleges in Hebei province, this paper analyze the situation of the extracurricular sports activities from seven aspects such as the active consciousness, organization form, sport, activity time, frequency, management methods, the use of auxiliary equipment. Through the analysis of the data, the author found the present situation of the state universities and private colleges and universities in Hebei province.Through the analysis, the extracurricular sports activities in the state colleges and universities are in the stable stage and constantly toward the higher, more professional development stage. But because of the short histories of the private colleges and universities the extracurricular sports activities are in the early stable stage, they should be based on the current and seek development.The author suggests the head of university who is in charge of the school sports work, especially the head of the private university, should show more emphasis and speed up the construction of the project of the extracurricular sports activities to perfect the management of extracurricular sports activities and incentive system. According to the Seventh File from CPC Central Committee, the extracurricular sports activities should be put into the physical education system of the university, at the same time they should be put into the college sports scores and the sunlight sports performance comprehensive evaluation. It is necessary to equip with enough and good sports teachers to guarantee the students’ sports time and sports frequentness and improve the students’ physical qualities.
