Research On The Cultivation Mechanism Of Basketball Referee In Jiangsu Under The New Situation

In the past few decades, Jiangsu Province, as a major and strong competitive sports province, Jiangsu’s basketball has been in a relatively high level of development, Jiangsu’s men and women basketball teams are also among the top ranks national wide. However, in recent years, Jiangsu Province basketball referee team appears a fractured phenomenon, which is bound to affect the sustainable development of basketball in Jiangsu province. In the basketball game, referee plays a very important part. The level of the referee’s judgment and the ability of discretion directly affect basketball movement and its technical and tactical development. This paper studies and discusses the cultivation mechanism and mode of the basketball referee in Jiangsu. It is helpful to strengthen the construction and development of basketball referees in Jiangsu Province. In this study, the status of the basketball referees in Jiangsu Province is investigated and analyzed, and the cultivation mechanism of basketball referees in Jiangsu province and the problems in the training process are analyzed, and some suggestions are put forward.The research results show that: firstly, the age of the referees in Jiangsu province mainly ranges from 20 to 44, the team of the referees is composed mainly of teachers with higher education background in higher education institutions, as the initial training units of basketball referees, colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province, play an important part in the cultivation of basketball referees. Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau and the Municipal Sports Bureau and the basketball association are responsible for the training and assessment of other levels of basketball referees. Secondly, the basketball referee team appears to be in an uneven regional distribution, the ratio of male and female referees is disproportional, the relatively large base is the referees of the first level, the referees with the experience of judging professional basketball league are of a small number, the cultivation of outstanding referees is not reasonable; the referee training period is long and with low frequency, and the training form is relatively single and the assessment system is not perfect, and the training of students in colleges and universities needs to be strengthened. Thirdly, according to the problems in Jiangsu Province, the construction of basketball referee training system is put forward. Through the close cooperation between Jiangsu Province Sports Bureau and higher education institutions, A perfect referee training system could be established, the establishment of this system has the significance to the Jiangsu Province basketball referee team’s youth, balance and the referee team’s overall level.Fourthly, the Jiangsu provincial competent leadership should attach great importance to the college basketball referee training, ensure material and policy support, and recruit or train some senior referees with superior competence to serve as a guide to the university referees training, and support their research work. Fifth, the Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau needs to strengthen the cooperation with the Municipal Sports Bureau and the cooperation with colleges and universities, needs to coordinate and solve the problems in the training of basketball referees in Jiangsu Province, and gradually improve the basketball referee assessment system in Jiangsu Province, so as to make the assessment and promotion system more scientific and reasonable. Sixth, all levels of sports association in Jiangsu province should be collaborative, effectively sort out and distribute existing resources, thus, to provide more useful information platform for basketball referees, to broaden the horizons of the referee, and to deepen the referees’ learning and understanding of the new rules. We can use the internet to establish a platform for mutual learning and exchanging, and regularly hold academic forums on different topics. Seventh, the Jiangsu provincial government needs to organize and host high level events, improve the level of competition and improve the referee’s ability, also needs to enhance international exchanges, improve the referee’s ability to communicate and improve the referees’ understanding of the latest rules. We needs to study the operation and marketing mode of international events, and to activate the atmosphere of the local basketball market, thus to promote the development of Chinese basketball. Eighth, Jiangsu Province should establish referee training base to hold regular rotation training for the referees with better competence and good morality, so as to let a part of outstanding judges come to the fore.
