Autism is a kind of widespread development disorder, there are obstacles in the daily interpersonal communication, it is not a mental problem and there is no problem. We were all born with a communication with the outside world, but people with autism are usually unable to use this function, can not properly communicate with others, the clinical manifestations often give an irrelevant answer repeats what others say, if it is not timely intervention, until adulthood are still not be fluent communication. In some non language communication, there are obstacles, but not enough to express themselves through the body and facial expressions, and the information that is received is not understood. In the specific daily activities, the patient is prone to stereotyped behavior, and repeated this behavior.2015, the United States CDC gives the latest data, in the United States, the prevalence of autism is 2.2% per 45 people,1 people are sick, the survey results published in China is 0.8%. The treatment of autism in China is carried out late, and many of the survey data is limited to special education schools, which are relatively concentrated in the treatment agency.The incidence of autism is usually in the early childhood, if not in the golden age of treatment to get timely intervention training, school education in school will certainly be affected. Autism has been found to be treated so far according to different conditions in different countries, many treatments can not be confirmed, but in some patients, there is a strong musical ability of autistic children, the music of the reaction shows that their innate music function is not damaged, use this good response, can help autistic children improve language, physical coordination and social communication skills. Therefore, the emergence of music therapy in this way. In the view of the children with autism, the musical function of the children, through the combination of music and medicine, psychology, plays a leading role in the music, according to children’s psychological and physiological responses to different styles of music to make the evaluation, and have a purpose for the purpose of training and development of education. As a subject of treatment, music therapy in practice has also been a variety of effective treatment methods, which is one of the music therapy is one of the ways to allow children to participate in the initiative to improve the success rate of intervention training. Impromptu music in the process of improvisation, spontaneous, creating and communicating the characteristics, can promote the emotional exchange between the patients with autism and the treatment of teachers, better to achieve the purpose of treatment.This research is divided into three parts. In the first part, the theoretical basis of the treatment of music is introduced, from three perspectives of physiology, psychology and treatment. The second part is about the application of music therapy in children with autism. The third part is about the effect of the education of impromptu music therapy.
