With the implementation of the curriculum standard, junior high school chemistry increasingly highlight the basic teaching of its enlightenment, which requires students to know the material around them and to understand its regularity, while senior high school chemistry tends to be more on the inner link of knowledge to cultivate the ability of students’practice and exploration, and requirements are also more diverse. The teaching of chemistry in junior high school and in senior high school is complementary to each other. To solve the fault phenomenon in chemistry teaching in junior high school and in senior high school, a lot of chemical workers have done a lot of researches. This article is based on the module--the Element Compound and teaching cohesion of chemistry between junior high school and senior high school is studied.The knowledge is confused and complex, and the concepts are not early. The chemical laws are more obvious in the use of special cases but they do not have the obvious universality. It gives students the feeling of "half liberal half science", and it is easy to fall into the infinite loop of rote memorization, especially in where the junior and senior high connecting points are obvious. Students still stay in the comprehension level of junior high school chemistry and ignore the inner link and the potential rule of senior high school chemistry knowledge.In order to develop the students’ability of autonomous learning and divergent thinking in teaching, this paper mainly studies the application of mind mapping in teaching cohesion of chemistry, letting the students independently establish the inner link of knowledge through the mind map drawing to form the basic knowledge system of Element Compound.This thesis consists of six chapters:Chapter 1 is the introduction of the research background.Chapter 2 is the literature review, which expounds the research status of teaching cohesion of elements and compounds knowledge between junior high school chemistry and senior high school chemistry, and the research status of the application of mind mapping in chemistry teaching.Chapter 3 expounds the concept, characteristics and drawing of the mind map.Chapter 4 is the research contents, methods and ideas, firstly analyzing the connecting points in junior and senior high school chemistry and its forms of expressions and presenting with mind map in order to achieve the purposes that old knowledge brings new knowledge and forms knowledge system.Chapter 5 is case analyses, manifesting the application advantages of mind mapping in teaching cohesion of elements and compounds knowledge between junior high school chemistry and senior high school chemistry.Chapter 6 is the conclusion and the outlook, summarizing the gain and loss of the research.In a word, this paper makes a discussion and research on teaching cohesion of mind map and provides some references for the application of elements and compounds knowledge between junior high school chemistry and senior high school chemistry.
