The flipped classroom has been gaining popularity in recent years. In a flipped classroom, class model has shifted from teaching-centered to learning-centered, teachers become the leader of class. Thanks to the modern technology, students can easily realize autonomous Learning, and they can also use the learning materials interact with classmates and teachers repeatedly, to expand and create the depth of knowledge.Learning diagnosis refers to the monitoring and evaluation of educational effectiveness, covering individual student data, class data and school data. Analysis of these data helps students, teachers, and school board on making informed decisions. The analysis helps teacher better understand the students’traits and needs, also provides with a basis for individualized instruction, meanwhile the analysis also help students make suitable study plans. Which realize the theory of teaching students according to their aptitude. There is little research done to measure students" learning effects in a flipped classroom. Previous studies believe that the online education exerts a positive influence in students’learning effects in the flipped classroom. Moreover, the success of the flipped classroom should rely on the Internet, computers, and the product of online learning environment, which should cover learning activities before, during and after class. Now it is easy for students to have access to Internet and use educational technology equipment. This tendency provides good conditions for developing the flipped classroom. This paper proposed a flipped classroom model for k-12 students, which integrates data models and education functions. The model has been implemented in an online-education product design of Fendou Company. The theoretical foundations used to design this flipped classroom model include constructivist learning, metacognition and Knowledge Space Theory. Based on the Knowledge Space Theory, the paper investigates the algorithms and strategies of learning diagnosis. The model has been proved effective in generating students’positive learning attitude and improving education outcome. It is hoped that this paper provides useful information for future research on designing a flipped classroom.
