In China, college students are superior human resource. Ideological and political education for college students is very important, helping them establishing proper ideals, beliefs and values. General secretary Hu Jintao once stated that ideological and political education for college students is highly important, which should be taken as a strategic task. The thesis goes deep into multiple modes of humanization and takes general secretary Hu Jintao’s "People Oriented" theory as guidance, wish to help other tasks. Different from other natural science works, ideological and political education is much more complex for its practices on human. It starts and relies on human. It means to improve and fulfil the development of humanization. Once abandoned the research on humanization, which is the most basic theory, it will go against objective law and lose its logical beginning. It will be hard to obtain a good effect. Deep research and better basic knowledge on humanization of ideological and political education are good for its validity. Meanwhile, it is also important for human’s subject spirit, innovation and social adaption in new era.There are four parts in the thesis:The first part describes the connotation and related theories on humanization of ideological and political education for college students. Part one consists of four chapters, describing humanization and its connotation; the connotation of humanization of ideological and political education; the connotation of humanization of ideological and political education for college students; the theoretical significance of Marxism development theory for humanization of ideological and political education. Part one sets a theoretical foundation for the whole thesis, making a theoretical preparation for the following research.The second part describes the significance of humanization of ideological and political education. There are shortages and problems in traditional ideological and political education, no matter judged from now or history. It do not adapt to today’s development. Society is in progress. As the research subject, human is also changing. Part two reveals both shortage of traditional ideological and political education and significance of modern humanization of ideological and political education: it has to satisfy both requirements from the progress of society and the development of ideological and political education, which is also the requirement of the development of college students.The third part describes problems and its research for reasons on humanization of ideological and political education for college students. For the problems, part three states by four aspects: failing to value the importance of human subjectivity; ignoring the innovation, objectivity and subjectivity; emphasizing the instrumentality and utility of research subject "human", dulling and simplifying education methods too much; ignoring the value and concerning of educational objects; success of educational objects are valued too narrowly, ignoring people’s all-round development. The reasons for such problem are discussed from society, family and college: value on "People Oriented" is too weak; colleges and universities lack of humanistic concern on students, education methods are too simple; some home environment is too tense, which is bad for free and all-round development of students.The fourth part is the last part of the thesis. It’s both the end and the significance of the thesis’ research. In order to push the thoughts of humanization of ideological and political education forward, part four digs in educational ideas, pedagogical principles and methods. First, educational ideas of "People Oriented" must be established. Students must be treated as core, insisting with humanistic concern in education and harmonious personality of students. Second, humanization principles must be implemented, along with three combinations: social value and personal value, life and happiness, equality of teacher-student relationship and subjectivity of students, management and consideration. The last of part four describes methods to reach humanization of ideological and political education for college students. With the four aspects above, we can establish a whole system, which contains excitation mechanism, humanized environment, humanized methods and humanized evaluation criterion.The subject of humanization of ideological and political education is human. Humanization of ideological and political education takes college students as subject and research object. Therefore, the foundation and foothold of humanization education has to be the development and progress of human. The place of education for college students are society, family and college. Only with these places and humanized education, we can reach our final goal- the perfect college students.
