With the wide use of mass media, such as TV and movies, the middle school students can get contact with music, especially the popular music more and more frequently. Thus adding music elements into the politics learning becomes more and more popular. This way, as a flexible teaching method, not only changed the way that students consider politics as boring and inane, but also added some energy to the serious class.This article has used literature research method, interdisciplinary perspectives and experiential summary method, based on other scholars’ research, my own teaching experience, the characteristics of politics class, combined with the value of music. The use of music has practiced the four principles which explained as aesthetic harmony, accurate target, practical and combination. It also practiced the research results of three usages, which is bedding before the class to make an atmosphere, responding to the competition theme during the class to add teaching effect and sum up the theme to sublime the class. The new curriculum standard has pointed out the importance of the effective use of curriculum resources, so the way of using music to assist politics teaching is unavoidable. It could also bring a more satisfying teaching result to the teachers and students.This thesis describes the following three aspects:From the first part of the Ideological and Political Course features. First, the ideological and political course teaching content reflects the scientific, ideological and political task of teaching discipline reflects the scientific, ideological and political education and other aspects of the process there is a pattern describes a characteristic of the first teaching- scientific. Second, the ultimate goal of political thought thoughtful Course is to train students to form good moral qualities, ideological and political course teaching characteristic of the object itself as well as from teachers who play a leading role in the ideological and political course teaching, it also has a thoughtful features. Finally, from the life of teaching content.The second part is to analyze and discuss the feasibility. First, between the ideological and political education and music education resources consistent objectives, consistent educational in nature, consistent educational impact; Secondly value of music teaching resources generated view, but also has a teaching environment optimization of teaching, student emotional sublimation, the teaching materials enhanced value.Established in the idea of new curriculum, I’d like to combine the knowledge that I learned from school with the experience I got from teaching practice to explore an effective way to improve the high school politics teaching results, to construct an effective and active class which contains more subjects, more interaction and more communication between the teachers and students, to help students apply the politics knowledge to the real life and feel the happiness that new knowledge brings about and enrich their life.
