At present, there still are many problems in English vocabulary teaching in the junior middle school. On the one hand, it takes up a lot of time in class. Vocabulary presentation is single. English vocabulary teaching lack the real context and repetition rate is low and so on; On the other hand, students’ interest in vocabulary learning is not high, and they lack the independent learning ability. In the Internet age, with the continuous progress of mobile technology, smart phones, tablet PCs and other mobile terminals are very popular, and then the third party application(APP) of learning English as a new mobile English teaching and learning mode floods into our life. Compared with the traditional English vocabulary teaching, mobile terminal application in the junior middle school English vocabulary teaching has the incomparable advantages.This paper is based on informal learning theory, distributed cognition theory, blended learning and ebbinghaus memory curve theory, using the mobile terminal operating system, network communication technology and mobile learning system and resources development technology as the technical support, combined with the Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard(2011), by means of questionnaire and interview to investigate the factors that influence efficiency of junior middle school students English vocabulary learning in the Internet age and the case of the popularization of the mobile terminal, and using SPSS22.0 to process and analyze the data, and then to explore the impact of English vocabulary teaching in junior high school from four aspects, namely vocabulary teaching, students’ vocabulary learning, communication between teachers and students and school management. According to the impact,this paper puts forward the integration of mobile terminal and English vocabulary teaching in the junior high school under the guidance of teachers and English words learning basic mode that is based on mobile terminal, and the necessary precondition for integration from three aspects: teachers, students, school management.Looking at the mobile terminal in the teaching application, we will find its application in physics teaching, the teaching of physical education theory, high school English teaching and College English vocabulary teaching, but application in English Vocabulary Teaching in junior middle schools indeed few. Therefore, this paper expects to explore more applications by the discussion about the impact of the mobile terminal on the junior high school English vocabulary teaching and coping strategies.
