Music memory is the reflection of musical experience like tone and melody in people’s brain which plays an important role in musical activities. Music memory is precondition of implementing music activities and is foundation of any musical activity because music is an art of temporality. Music memory is applied to music appreciation,musical performance and music creation. So, music memory needs be paid attention in music education.Middle-school age is a period which is beneficial to active music memory and the period is definitely important to research of music memory. Students’ stable musical abilities are mainly concentrated when they learn music at the stage of elementary education. Therefore, the thesis focused on “Junior Middle-school Students’Long-term Memory of Melody” and experimental research was used to explore those students’ situations of long-term memory of melody. The result showed that Junior Middle-school Students’ mainly in the music melody memory to auditory memory and humming memory, motor memory as auxiliary is easy to ignore visual memory. In the music melody memory of juniorMiddle-school Students’ by using the collaborative multiple senses to help memory, can effectively melody memory effect.Those experimental data and results could be useful reference for other researchers.
