With the proposed basic education curriculum reform,scientific inquiry gradually advancing in high school biology classroom, Teachers gained some experience,but there are some problems in inquiry teaching process,such as, procedures,generalization and fuzzy goals. In 2013 the United States developed a "Next Generation Science Standards"(NGSS), NGSS proposed to replace the scientific inquiry in science and engineering practice, in order to solve the problems of science inquiry.This research is based on the theory of science and engineering practice in NGSS, then proposes science and engineering practice teaching strategy in the biology classroom of senior high school. The research content is divided into the following parts:The first part describes the concept of science and engineering practice, and clear the meaning and significance of eight methods of science and engineering practice.The second part, combined with PEP high school biology textbook, presented scientific and engineering practice teaching strategies in biology classroom of Senior High School.Scientific explanations and arguments are often accompanied,mathematical and computational thinking often permeate to other methods. Therefore, this paper possible implementation strategies on six science and engineering practices, the development and use of models, plan and carry out plans, analyze and interpret data, scientific explantions and arguments,acquisition, assessment and exchange of information.The third part, combined PEP textbook content design five instructional. Teachers must create a scientific scenario,encourage students to use scientific methods and engineering practice,practice science and engineering on the biology classroom.The fourth part, on the basis of the education system in our country, teacher resources, and many other factors,analysis of the possible difficulties if we carry out science and engineering practice in our biology class. These difficulties include limited biological class hours; limited teacher’s scientific and engineering practical experience;inequality Schools’ experimental resources; evaluation ofscience and engineering practice is not perfect. But some new opportunities provide possibilities for the implementation of science and engineering practice such as the reform of the deepening of the new curriculum concept; new college entrance examination policy; the perfection of the policy of teacher training;The enrichment and popularization of network resource.
