Great changes have taken place in human society since the 21 st century,and mass high-quality persons with innovative ability are badly needed in the rapid development of all walks of life.The Exam-oriented Education can not fulfill such a historical task with so many obvious disadvantages of itself.The best and only way in the area of education nowadays is to choose the Quality-oriented Education to cultivate people’s innovative awareness and creative thinking.Based on such background, reform on setting questions in the College Entrance Examination arise,which mainly focuses on the function of the Entrance Examination-ability builder and learning conductor.And then comes the test questions of maths for the purpose of testing students’ innovative awareness in the exam.So the author analysed some related tests and documents and did a research on the methods of setting innovative questions of maths test in the exam,with five sections as follows:For the 1st section, the thesis introduces the background of this study from the following aspects--the development of economic society, the current situation of basic education and reform on setting questions in the Exam,the Quality-oriented Education and professional development of teachers.Then continues with the content and the methods of it,including some new findings as well.Next,it analyses some materials,defines some related jargons,such as the principles of the setting questions,the factors of it,etc.and summarizes some of the opinions home and abroad.The third section and the fourth section are the trunk part of the thesis,of which the third section mainly focuses on the channel of designing and the strategy of desigining of the innovatve test questions in the Exam.While the fourth section mainly focuses on analysing some examples of the innovative test questions.And for the last section,it draws a conclusion for the research achievements and describes the author’s own suggestions.The author suggests all the teachers improve thier own professional knowledge and help the students to deveop the sense ofinnovation by using innovative test questions.
