Inheritance Of Ethetic Wrestle Culture Of Liangshan Yi Nationality

In the background of modernization,the national characters dissolved into the times’ change, many national culture has disappeared. But wrestling of Yi people and Torch Festival, as different culture characters, attracted more attention. The thesis, links wrestling culture of the past and present like a main line, in the view of the inheritance of ethnic cultures, is to explore the wrestling culture of Yi people. Wrestling of Yi people in Yi area, influenced by spiritual culture and religious cultures and the culture of production, not the simple physical activity, but has become a kind of special love and a special families gathering culture. In the Mei Gu county in Liang Shan,Zhaojue County,Pu Ge Country and Yan Yuan County,I interviewed Yi scholars and wrestling masters, collected a large amount of civil materials,which lay the foundation for my research. With the method of field investigation, expert interview and literature, I put forward the following conclusion and prospect:Wrestling of Yi people in Yi area inherit the cultural elements of fire:1.“living role” training. “ wrestling is for winning, winning is for honor”.The hero of wrestling of Yi people is symbolized in the social action, which is shaped in life practice. And they try their best to get more honor and more glory in the public domain that transits from foes in traditional society to life etiquette and festival celebrations in today’s world.2.Ritualized Performing. Wrestling of Yi people expresses good wishes and runs away from calamity in the life rituals such as weddings and funerals. People of Yi nationality is not to meet the arrival of the ceremony, but to stay with it forever, so wrestling is not the object, but the melting of personality.3,Social display Yi society, consanguinity as a standard, based on family generations,builds relationship between relatives,is permeated by hierarchy,has a conflict of interest all over the area. 4. Striving spirit with ancestor-worship will not be interrupted because of change and developments of social environment, can’t get culture acculturation on account of long process of cultural integration. Therefore, it is necessary for wrestling to keep the society in good order. Wrestling culture, although different purposes, has been rooted in Yi nationality of the past and present. Wrestling culture, which transmitted from generation to generation, will form national feeling and its own culture in the modern society.
