Research On The Inheritance And Development Of Liangshan Yi Wrestling Sport

LiangShan Yi wrestling is a characteristic sport used by Yi ancestors to pray for blessings,protect health,harvest crops and livestock prosperity.It can promote the communication between people and enhance the atmosphere of festival activities;Exercise Yi men’s will quality,physical exercise,courage and decisive spirit;Yi wrestling is called the flower of competition by the Yi people and is an important part of Liangshan ethnic culture.However,with the continuous development and changes of economy and society,as well as the impact of foreign sports culture and competitive sports,the number of Yi wrestling villages in Liangshan Prefecture is decreasing year by year,and the number of Yi wrestling athletes is also decreasing year by year.In this paper,literature,field investigation,interview,logical analysis and other research methods are mainly adopted.Legrari,the representative inheritor of Yi wrestling in Liangshan Prefecture,is the main object of investigation,and literature materials mainly based on oral interview records of the inheritor Legrari are collected.After sorting out and analyzing,the author has a clearer understanding of the historical origin,cultural connotation,technical and tactical characteristics,and technical movements of Liangshan Yi wrestling movement,sorted out the development status of Liangshan Yi wrestling movement,and analyzed the inheritance mode,inheritance content and inheritance predicament of Liangshan Yi wrestling movement.The results are as follows:1)wrestling yi Liangshan prefecture sports major movements are clinching fold,rinse,over the chest fall,pick,hook,foot binding eversion technologies such as wrestling yi at the same time contains the respect for ancestors,advocating wushu,wrestling hero,unique ideas of folk entertainment.2)The Yi wrestling should strive for excellent results in competitive sports,while the characteristic rules and cultural connotation of traditional Yi wrestling should not be ignored.The inheritors,as the main carrier of inheritance,play an irreplaceable role in the process of inheritance and development.It is necessary to strengthen the protection and training of team inheritors,dig more inheritors and dig more documents and historical materials.To promote the inheritance and development of Yi wrestling sport with Yi characteristics.3)Liangshan Yi people’s wrestling has been developed mainly through family inheritance,mentoring inheritance and school inheritance.In the process of its development,it has formed the inheritance method of oral and physical instruction and physical demonstration,and the inheritance characteristics include gradual inheritance steps.4)In the process of inheritance,it is more difficult to inherit and develop Yi wrestling due to factors such as the lack of generations of inheritors,insufficient protection,insufficient funds,changes in lifestyle,the impact of modern sports,and the self-limitation of Yi wrestling.5)In the inheritance and development of Liangshan Yi wrestling,it is necessary to respect the wrestling culture of the Yi nationality more.Different forms of carriers are needed to drive the development of the wrestling of the Yi nationality.However,the original ethnic characteristics of the wrestling of the Yi nationality should be retained,and the characteristic parts of the wrestling of the Yi nationality should not be completely assimilated.By exploring the competition experience of the inheritors,the performance of the Yi wrestling team,the entry of the Yi wrestling sport into the National Games and the current development status and inheritance of the Yi wrestling sport in Liangshan Prefecture,this paper finds out a series of inheritance difficulties of the Yi wrestling sport in Liangshan Autonomous Prefecture,and proposes corresponding protection measures and inheritance paths.It provides some reference for the inheritance and development of other ethnic minority traditional sports.
