To solve these problems, using information methods, having the aid of Modern digital processing technology, basing on The information network platform and constructing of Informatization of Archives is the general trend. Building the information network platform is the necessary step and premise to make information construction of archive, which is also the requirements and demands of country’s information construction. To Shanxi University, information construction of archive achieving the goal of administrating archive efficiently and utilizing on higher level, is the strong guarantee to inherit the hundreds years materials of Shanxi University and the necessary mechanism to let the people get rid of administrate archive,and the indivisible part of the construction of digital campus of Shanxi University.The purpose of this thesis is to start from the present situation of management and utilization of archives, tease the operation process of archive repeatedly and carefully, analyze the most prominent problems and business bottlenecks presently, compare the mainstream modern information management mode, draw support from the modern information management thinking mode of management, and optimize the operation process. Meantime, referring to the mature information way and successful cases at home and abroad, combining with the characteristics of archival work and common problems, according to the former experience and practical problems, synthesizing the present situation and long-term resources of Shanxi University Archives, basing the principles of the quality first, forward-looking appropriately, providing the high quality information products and services at the same time, considering the extendibility and continuity, to form a platform planning with high performance, high stability, high extension.In the process of detailed analysis of the design, in order to ensure continuity and fault work easy to restore, avoid system paralysis, we combine the practice of archival work and the system data flow, we comprehensively analyze and design the whole information platform, and divide the system into four parts, including the information network sub-system, the archives management sub-system, digital acquisition and processing sub-system, output utilization sub-system, which are relatively independent sub systems, detailed analyzed and designed to form the final overall planning and design.
