Language is the most important tool for human communication. Language has a decisive influence on the development of children, it not only helps children to develop the understanding of the external world and themselves, but also promotes their socialization. Language not only affects the communication between children and society and the development of social adaptation ability, but also affects the children’s mental development.There is a certain percentage of language retardation in children, the best period of language rehabilitation is 2 years old to 7 years old. Children’s language rehabilitation education is of great significance, whether these children can eventually integrate into the mainstream society or learn and work with the same age children are related to it.This study is based on practice. Based on the characteristics of 3-4 years old children who are language, this study takes the intervention of language retardation as the main line in order to explore the effect of the play counseling on the language rehabilitation education of preschool children. play counseling is a kind of educational counseling method based on play as a medium. play are the most important and most interested learning style. The play can simulate different occasions to stimulate children’s desire to understand the language of the partner and promote their communication skills in a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere.This study selected 20 children aged 3-4 years old in the ordinary kindergarten children as the research object, including the experimental group of 10 people, the control group of 10 people. There were 10 children(7 boys and 3 girls) in the experimental group, the average age was 3.32 years old, and the control group had 10 children(7 boys, 3 girls), the average age was 3.28 years, and the average age was 3.3 years.This study is based on Skinner’s theory of language learning. Skinner believes that language is a learned behavior and uses the term "language behavior" to cover all forms of communication. This study used the language behavior assessment scale(VerBAS) to evaluate children, then used the language ability assessment table as the pre-test and post-test assessment materials. This scale is divided into 12 parts, which are evaluated by the receptive language ability, communicative language ability, and descriptive language ability of the subjects. The research has proved that: after 6 months of intervention, the all dimensions of the language ability of the 10 children have significantly improved.The experimental research on the play counseling proved that the method is effective.
