| Consumption, as the goal of human’s productive, is one of the indispensable elements of social practice and also one of the four steps of the social reproduction. People’s consumption demand, content, patterns, models, etc. are influenced by economic conditions, the traditional habit and social morality, while are affected by the consumer’s consumption concept. The change of times is reflects by those college students who are in a period of formation of the world outlook, philosophy and viewpoint of value of curse. Their consumer behavior, in a way, shows the state of life and the value orientation. So we should pay attention to the new changes in their consumption concept, and it is helpful to lead them to establish a correct concept of consumption and consumer behavior. It enriches the content of education, and plays a strong demonstration effect to guide social consumption behavior and moral.In this paper, I research the consumption concept under the background of globalization of the college students from Xi’an and Singapore, through the analysis of formation reasons of the two groups’, comparison between the two, and discussion of the similarities and differences. Some feasible suggestions in China were put forward. For instance, to play macro management in government to guide students to establish healthy consumption concept; to create micro atmosphere in family to develop the correct view of consumption; to strengthen the theory education in school to improve the scientific disclosures; to establish a reasonable consumption concept in practice in themselves, thus to guide our students. |
