A Survey On The Application Of Inverted Rubber And Bats Of Different Properties In Table Tennis Trainings Of Senior High School

Jiangsu Xishan Senior High School boasts the traditional sport of table tennis among high schools in Wuxi. One of the priorities of its physical education(PE) is to attach great significance to table tennis trainings. The table tennis course has a direct impact on both physical and psychological growth of students, teacher career development, and the shape of school characteristics. The application of table tennis bats of different properties is extremely significant for developing the students’ table tennis skills and achieving high grades in the table tennis competitions. This paper applies various methodologies, such as questionnaires, documentary research, interview, mathematical statistics and logical analysis approach. It makes an analysis of the properties, characteristics and applications of different bats like short pimps, long pimps and raw pimps by means of the knowledge about students’ employment of rats of different properties. It provides both theoretical and practical basis for the scientific table tennis trainings of senior high school students. Students are supposed to be supplied with bats of different properties according to their technical features. And integration of teaching, trainings and competitions as well as the combination of centralization and decentralization will achieve good results.The findings are as followed:1. It is of positive meaning to include rubber bats of different properties in the trainings of senior high school students, for it helps improve the students’ skills. Any kind of rubber bats has its potentials, even though its disadvantages inevitably coexist with advantages. Different rubber bats should not be excluded from the exercise of high school students. Instead, their application should be regarded as one of the important ways to improve the students’ table tennis skills.2. It is of practical meaning to include rubber bats of different properties in the trainings and competitions of senior high school students, for they encourages students to achieve high grades. High school students rarely use strange bats in the table tennis exercises or competitions; therefore, generally speaking, they have a very limited knowledge of the strange bats’ properties and how to use the bats. To use different rubber bats will encourage students to take the offensive in real time competition so as to defeat the rival through unexpected moves. In this regard, it lays a foundation for the students to achieve good performance.3. The utilization of rubber bats of different properties should be in line with the technical features of students. The application of different bats will give full play to students’ talents, improve their skills and boost their confidence.4. It is feasible to construct and put into practice the table tennis course that is integrated with PE courses, recess, after-class physical activities, sports trainings and competitions. Through both intensive and sporadic trainings, students can make full use of time to intensify their trainings so as to realize the improvement of their table tennis skills.
