A New Way To Explore For College Students’ Ideological And Political Education

Ideological and political education has a great significance for the overall development of college students and the values of the form. With the development of the society, ideological and political education affects impacts and influences form various aspects, The demand of the social environment, the needs of the construction of ideological and political education put forward new requirements to the teaching methods of traditional ideological and political education. To explore new education way is imperative.Volunteer service is a kind of free social activity, the practicality, subjectivity and diversity performance of volunteer service can effectively improve the shortcoming of traditional ideological and political education, through moving the ideological and political education teaching positions from the classroom to life, it can effectively highlight the students’ subject consciousness, strengthen the ideological and political education of the core content, enhance the actual effect of ideological and political education. The diversity and variety of organized of volunteer service fit with the international trend, also conforms to the college students’ mainstream value, it can become a new way of ideological and political education, promote the construction of ideological and political education. Explore volunteer service as a new way of university’s ideological and political education can help students to position themselves correctly, know the value of self education and achieve the unity.This dissertation fully concentrates on integrating theory with practice, document and questionnaires researches, face to face interviews to investigate on the new ways of voluntary. Youth Olympic Games volunteers in Nanjing tech university as investigation object, the form of questionnaire survey on the ideological and political education and voluntary service as the investigation content. Through the survey found that although most of the students think volunteer service related to ideological and political education has very big related, but it can’t integrated into the practical teaching of ideological and political education, problems in practical teaching management, the support of school is insufficient, the teachers neglected, student participation is not high. Through these problems, the colleges and universities, teachers, students and students’organizations should take corresponding measures to improve and solve. First of all, the school attaches great importance to the role of volunteer service in ideological and political education; second, teachers improve teaching consciousness of taking the volunteer service into ideological and political education; at last, the students improve consciousness of participating volunteer. In addition, the school departments promote the development of voluntary service.Colleges and universities,teachers, s tudents, students’organizations, other departments of colleges and universities need to collaboration, ensure the effect of the ideological and political education practice together, make full use of voluntary service as a new way to improve the ideological and political education method.
