The Research On Ideolegical And Political Education Function Of College Students’ Voluntary Service

Volunteer service is the service behavior of a non government organization system,is the volunteer use their knowledge,labor and skills to serve the community and individuals,which is based on individual virtue and moral cultivation.College student volunteer service has the irreplaceable function of other ideological and political education carrier for enhancing the social image of college students and cultivating the socialist core values.With the rapid development of economy and society,as an important channel to strengthen the function of Ideological and political education of college students,the volunteer service development direction,principle,content,carrier and other aspects of volunteer service are needed to be further improved and perfected.The innovation of traditional way of voluntary service,enrich the course content,perfect the content structure,enhance the effectiveness and timeliness of the political education function of college students volunteer service,has important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the development of College Students’ Ideological and political education science.This paper first defines the related concept and connotation of college students volunteer service,combing the volunteer service function of the ideological and political education,on the basis of this,has a questionnaire for Ideological and political education function of College Students’ Voluntary Service,analyzing the existing problems and reasons found: volunteer college students lack of social practice experience,the motivation of voluntary service is more utilitarian and the subjective consciousness is not strong,limitations of professional knowledge lead to limited participation,volunteer service management and security system is not perfect and so on.there are the main factors restricting the current college students’ volunteer service functions.The paper finally puts forward the guiding ideology and specific initiatives to improve college students’ volunteer service,including:Practicing the socialist mainstream value to strengthen the guiding function,carrying forward the spirit of volunteerism,ideals and beliefs to play cohesion function,improving college students’ volunteer service management system to highlight the function of education,strengthening the training of volunteer service to practice function,Combining multiple incentives to stimulate the subject consciousness,strengthen the incentive function and make full use of new media platforms.
