Since the starting of the biology review in senior high three, many teachers and students have been busy to indulge in endless exercises. Students pay much attention to various outside review materials, departing from the most critical textbooks. With the points in biology excessive and varied, students’ attending to trifles and neglecting the essentials may lead to their confusion about central concepts, principles, rules and the scattering of points. The college entrance examination based on new curriculum emphasizes the test on the basic knowledge,especially the understanding and using of it. Therefore, the most effective method of the biology review in senior high three is to lead students to come back to the textbook, and organize them to review based on the textbook.The biology matriculation texts under the new curriculum are analysed to offer a beacon to the review by finding out the trend of the matriculation texts in the recent years. The focus concentrates on how to guide students to return to the textbook, understand the deep concept of principles, and help them to construct a complete network of knowledge to culture their ability of understanding, obtaining information, exprimenting and doing research, and intergrated application according to the exam outline, in terms of the analysis on the biology matriculation texts in the National Matriculation Biology Test and teaching cases, exploring the specific method of returning to the textbook in review with a guarantee of success. It tries to construct a system of effective teaching methods suitable to returning to the textbook under the new curriculum.This paper studies the course of the biological review of senior three based on the analysis of college entrance examination papers. A variety of methods to return to teaching materials help the students to improve ability of the syllabus requirements, to achieve their lifelong learning and development and lay a solid foundation, becoming talents country and the times need, improving the scientific literacy of biology curriculum.
