The Research On The Application Of Movie & TV Resources In Geography Teaching Of Senior Middle School

With the world spread of informatization characterized by digitization and networking,the modern education technology has had an unprecedented development since the third industrial revolution, which provides the technical supports for the application of movie resources in classroom teaching. At the same time, there is urgent need to assist the learning of knowledge by means of visualization in senior high school geography classroom. The comprehensiveness and intuition of movie resources make its application in geography teaching become the topic. When facing numerous movie and TV resources, the big question is how should we collect, select and apply them scientifically.The paper studies on the application of the movie and television resources in senior geography teaching mainly by literature method and questionnaire investigation. Through the questionnaire survey, it finds that the significance of movie resources in senior geography teaching has been generally recognized by the teacher. But, there are problems in practical that teachers don’t know where to collect the resources, lacking in corresponding information technology to edit and process them, etc. Therefore, above problems are discussed in this paper. For the collection of movie resources, there are available download web sites and matching resource database; in the aspect of editing and processing, the article selected convenient software in common use to present cases, thus providing references for the utilization of movie and TV resources in different types of courses and teaching links. Finally, complete teaching cases are showed in teaching practice.Through the research on strategies of integrating movie resources into the geography teaching effectively, the article expects to provide some references in the use of movie and TV resources for geography teachers in the future, hopes to be helpful for students being lifelong lovers of geography on the basis of promoting own geographic academic level, and at last hopes to start a discussion and draw more senior high school geography teachers involving themselves in further studies.
