With the ecological environmental crisis growing and the advance of human ideology, people’s demands of the ecological environmental protection is increasingly high. To solve the problem of ecological environment, people need to have ecological concept of people’s health as well as good ecological behavior. It is the requirement of the development of ages, the appeal for the sustainable development of human beings, the demands of the Chinese dream and ecological dream to develop the ecological moral education, improve the ecological and moral accomplishment of the educatees and shape their ecological moral quality.The basic knowledge such as population, resources and environment, which involved in the high school geographical education, is systemic and rich. Because the geographical discipline has such discipline characteristics, it determines its important position to carry out ecological moral education in the high school. In high school geography teaching, geography teachers should clear the ecological educational goal, excavate and develop the geography teaching material about the ecological moral education content, develop the ecological moral education based on geography teaching.The main task of this research is:mining the ecological moral educational material in high school geography teaching, and exploring the objectives, principles, contents and methods to implement ecological moral education in geography teaching, in order to foster ecological and moral quality of the high school students. Therefore, on the basis of referring and rearranging lots of relevant documents on the ecological moral education, the author makes a systematic research on mining and fostering the ecological moral education in high school geography teaching by using literature analysis, questionnaire investigation, interview method and statistical analysis method.With the development of productive forces, the crisis of ecological environment is increasingly serious, and ecological morality is the moral quality that students must possess today. Geography is the main subject of ecological moral education. In this paper, the cultivation of ecological moral education in geography teaching in senior high school is the research topic. Combining with the basic education closely on the one hand and conforming to the trend of the times on the other hand. This paper has a certain theoretical value and practical value, it plays a certain role in guiding the ecological moral education of geography.
