The Investigation On The Situations And Development Of Sports Elective Courses In Shijiazhuang Vocational Colleges

The development of world economic globalization, the development of science and technology in the 21 th century is actually a competition in technology talents. The New “the national program for college P.E course”put forward the guiding ideology “people-oriented, health first”, which highlighted the dominant position of students in physical education and guiding the school physical education in students’ physical and mental health, hobbies, personality development. The optional sports courses can not only give full play to the role of students as the main body, arouse the enthusiasm of students in sports learning, meet the students’ interests, can also train students to master sports special technical skills, the students’ lifelong physical exercise habit, promote the all-round development of students. As an important part of the ordinary university in our country, the development of the sports option class in higher vocational colleges, conforms to the contemporary college students’ physiological and psychological characteristics, liked by the vast number of higher vocational teachers and students, so the sports option class teaching mode is widely adopted teaching mode in higher vocational colleges, but this mode is unified, the teaching content is also unfixed.It will have a great realistic significance and function on the promotion of the further reform of higher vocational colleges and universities sports teaching and rapid development and the cultivation of student’s sports ability, personality and quality.This paper has a investigation and comprehensive analysis on the situation of Shijiazhuang city sports option class in higher vocational colleges, with the existing sports option class curriculum in higher vocational colleges, teaching conditions, teaching content, teaching structure and teaching evaluation and so on several parts were investigated based on documents,interviews,surveys, mathematical statistics and logic analysis.And lead to the following conclusions: 1.With the promulgation and implementation of the “outline”,the vocational colleges in Shijiazhuang basically completed by the traditional teaching physical education options to unify the changing pattern, which favored by all teachers and students. 2.The existing sports curriculum contents are too single.The traditional sports project has a big proportion, new projects are less, which cannot meet the interests and career need of students. Sports theory class scheduling less, most of the teaching materials are compiled unified, have a low-usage, and the contents are short of comprehensiveness and lifelong education, all these have a large gap with the demand of education departments. 3.The situation of the choice of physical education in higher vocational colleges in Shijiazhuang needs to be improved. Teacher’s teaching method and means are lack of innovation. The way of examination and evaluation is too single, evaluation contents mainly based on physical fitness and motor skills, most of the schools according to student’s movement technical level and attendance for the final examination. 4.Most physical education teachers are middle-aged and have a bachelor degrees, professional titles are unreasonable, PE teachers’ scientific research ability is not very ideal as a whole, teachers’ professional competence is disorder, and PE teachers’ work is relatively heavy. 5.Because of the shortage of sport funds, there are not so many sports equipment facilities and multi-purpose sports stadiums. Sports teaching facilities are short of supplement. And the schools which equipped with a complete sports facilities, these facilities have a low-usage. All of these restricted the implementation and development of the sports class selection.This paper aims at providing some references and suggestions for the elective course teaching in higher vocational colleges reform in Shijiazhuang city. reform can be the reference of development are put forward based on the present situation of advice, further promote the all-round development of Shijiazhuang city sports option class in higher vocational colleges, to further promote the all-round development of the sports option class in higher vocational colleges in Shijiazhuang city.
