English learning,as the main content of the four major listening, speaking, reading and writing in senior high school English teaching, plays an important role in our high school English teaching. It is an effective way to detect students’ English language proficiency and ability to learn, for the English proficiency of students to express their ideas and views has a very important significance. English writing is usually the last to get in high school English learning and is one of the most difficult English learning skills. In The New English Curriculum Standard of High School, Education department put forward higher requirement in the English writing ability of high school students.But t in this paper, the actual study found significant limitations of current English teaching practice, partly due to the students’ ability to use their own learning, they cannot flexibly use basic knowledge of English to improve their English writing skills and level. In addition, the greater part of the reason lies in the high school English teaching methods and mechanical one-sidedness. Many teachers, just to test students’ grammar rules effectiveness or to cope with the task of teaching, simply arrange for students of English writing jobs, but not in a timely manner to guide students. In the long-term accumulation of errors, the students gradually lose interest in writing for the English, which even has more serious consequences. In addition, individual schools do not even pay attention to the presence of the teaching of writing, just let the students copy the model essay and so on, which directly cause the writing skills of high school students lag. For these reasons, an effective way to study for English writing, based on the transfer theory, has a very important practical value and theoretical value. First, it can be effective in the current high school English writing teaching in the existence of the formation of the specific errors, and sums up the students in English writing errors in common, to enhance students’ interest in learning English, to change the current English teaching ways and means. Secondly, it is beneficial for our high school English teaching and learning methods theoretical guidance to promote the actual development of high school English teaching, enriching the theoretical study of the transfer, and by practical application in English writing teaching, to further test the transfer theory actual value. This paper, through the use of language transfer theory, the use of quantitative and qualitative research methods, analyzes the errors in English writing of high school students and ineffective and meaningless expressions, has the data processing systems analysis of lexical errors, syntax errors and discourse errors, and explore the teaching mode of English writing in high school and a method to improve the teaching of writing.This paper has a very important role in improving high school students English writing ability, enhancing students practical grasp of English and the ability to use it. |
